This 2,000 square foot splash pad is located in the middle of Knightdale Station Park and is a great way to beat the heat for anyone east of downtown Raleigh. There is a small admission fee for both residents and non-residents, and the park also offers a dog park and playgrounds. Located in the Millbrook Exchange Park, the pool is open year-round, which is supplemented by the sprayground and wading pool with fountains, giant water buckets, and more. The Fuquay Varina Splash Pad, located inside South Park, is a great spot for a day of water-based play. The recent updates also include a playground, gymnasium, and two-story community center. The park itself was opened in 1938 and was one of the state’s first urban parks to serve the Black community. Located in the John Chavis Memorial Park, this splash pad was constructed as part of the park’s facelift, completed in 2021.
